Chung Younghan [12th]
Recently, I turned to emphasize the conceptual part of my painting than drawing skills,
but I still considering about the issues of image and representation in contemporary art.
It is related with the problem about ‘after the end of art,’ from this, my art works linked to discover the possibility of painting in new era.
In this sense, ‘my myth’ in the paintings is a communication tool for sharing emotions in our time,
so my recent works are a kind of monologue to saying about what is myth today.
‘My myth’ is telling about the precious value in our time, homage to the ghost of art history, and the revival the power of image through painting.
